Metro Detroit Communities are honoring diversity, love, and inclusion not only during Pride Month in June but all summer long. Many of the festivals below include local food and vendors, business and community resources, activities, entertainment, children’s areas, and more.

Pride in the Park

A Brandon High School sophomore started this event in April 2021 after she came out as bisexual. For 2024, she’s planning a festival that offers interactive prop stations, henna, face painting, vendor booths, food trucks, and more. No cost for admission.��June 1. Ferndale Pride

Ferndale’s annual Pride strives to recognize and support all corners of the local LGBTQ+ communities. Enjoy live musical performances, drag shows, food, vendors, informational stands, and a kids’ area. No cost for admission. June 1. Downtown Ferndale area; .

Ypsi Pride

Wear your best rainbow garb and join in the fun of Ypsi Pride! There’s live entertainment, local food and goods vendors, and even kid-friendly fun for the entire family. No cost for admission. June 7. ; .��

Motor City Pride Festival and Parade

As the largest Pride celebration in the state, Motor City Pride brings more than 50,000 people downtown for a Pride parade, vendor booths, and a festival that features live entertainment and food trucks. There’s also a kids area with age-appropriate activities and entertainment. $5 cover, free for kids 12 and under. June 8-9. Hart Plaza, ; .

Pride Beach Party

The number one public square in the country is hosting a Pride-themed Bach party presented by Wana Brands and supported by the Ruth Ellis Center. Expect live music from local and regional bands, live DJs, drag queen bingo, special giveaways, and much more. Be sure to bring an essential item to donate to the Ruth Ellis Center. June 13. Grosse Pointe Pride

Downriver Pride, Wyandotte

Pride in the Park, Rochester

Berkley Pride Block Party

Flint Pride

Celebrate diversity throughout Flint at this 14th annual Pride event. Enjoy live entertainment, get a health screening, try food from area businesses, and shop vendor booths. Cover fee applies. June 29. Riverbank Park, ; .

South Lyon Pride in the Park

Ann Arbor Pride

Tree Town is celebrating Pride a little later than usual, with the event officially happening in August. Expect family-friendly fun until 6 p.m. and adults-only events after.
