As expected, tickets for Hallowe’en at Greenfield Village sold out fast. But the scary event isn’t your only chance to celebrate at the Dearborn attraction this year.Μύ

Greenfield Village will host its Holiday Nights event on select days throughout December. Just like last year, Greenfield Village’s historic homes will be decked out with festive decorations, and each night will feature cooking demonstrations, live outdoor performances by musicians and carolers, an appearance by Santa and his reindeer, warm food and beverages, and free carousel rides. Guests will also get the chance to shop for gifts at a glass and pottery shop, ornament shop, and a market with traditional balsam fir trees, wreaths, and other holiday greens.Μύ

For a higher cost, attendees can also enjoy Supper with Santa inside Greenfield Village’s Taste of History restaurant. Reservations, which can be made by calling 313-982-6001, are required.Μύ

β€œCelebrating the holidays at Greenfield Village is a tradition for many families,” says Karen Minghine, executive vice president and retail banking director for Citizens, the presenting sponsor of the event. β€œWhile the holidays may look different this year, we’re proud to partner with The Henry Ford to present Holiday Nights in Greenfield Village, and provide families a way to safely make memories this season.”

Due to the pandemic, this year’s event will not include Model T and carriage rides, ice skating, indoor caroling, and the traditional Holiday Nights Dinner Package and Happy ΒιΆΉ·¬ΊΕ. Guests ages 2 and up are also required to wear a face mask in all indoor space and whenever social distancing cannot be met. Spacing markers will be placed throughout the venue, and an increased number of cleaning staff will be onsite.ΜύΜύ

General admission tickets are available at no cost to children four and under and range from $19.25 to $30 for youth and adults. Tickets are now on sale for Henry Ford members, and non-member tickets go on sale on Nov. 4.Μύ
