How You Can Shop to Support Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month bringing heightened awareness to the cause. Throughout the month, there are countless ways to get involved, from 5K runs to buying stamps. But one of the easiest ways is to shop. Here, we’ve rounded up 10 local and national products and companies that support breast cancer research during October.


In the past English Gardens has raised over $46,000 for breast cancer research. This year, the family-owned garden center intends to continue supporting the cause with its β€œRound Up Your Purchase” program. At all seven locations throughout Michigan, employers ask customers to round their purchase totals to the nearest dollar to benefit the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute. Birmingham-based pampering haven Margot European Day Spa joins local efforts to aid in breast cancer awareness this month.
