Luxury brand Gucci has announced that its first-ever dedicated men’s store will open at the Somerset Collection in Troy on Friday, Oct. 14, 2022.
The 5,000-square-foot shop is located on level 1 of the south side of Somerset, situated across from the Gucci women’s store, right between Neiman Marcus and Christian Louboutin.
It showcases a wide collection of exclusively men’s clothing and accessories including shoes, luggage, small leather goods, belts, jewelry, watch and eyewear.
In addition to a wide variety of items for purchase, shoppers can expect a welcoming and relaxed interior design that features an “unexpected combination of materials” including custom-patterned green carpeted floors throughout the store, alongside Gucci Décor’s Glade Print wallpaper.
Plus, black and gold iron wall finishes, vintage oriental rugs throughout, and green velvet upholstery in the fitting rooms.
The Gucci men’s store opened in space E-144 of The Somerset Collection, , on Friday, Oct. 14, 2022. It is open 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and noon-6 p.m. on Sunday.
This isn’t the first time that Gucci made waves in Detroit fashion news in 2022. Back in August, the brand made headlines when they opened a highly anticipated location in Downtown Detroit and partnered with clothing brand Detroit V. Everybody to release a limited-edition capsule collection.
