Welcome in the warm weather with a cold beer and good company at these metro Detroit events. From a race-day capped with a refreshing brew to a Father’s Day cruise featuring seasonal favorites, there’s plenty of beer happenings to enjoy this June.

Bark & Brew 5k

Burn some calories then sip some booze at this year’s Kona Running Company 5K family-fun run. Beginning at Rochester College, the race guides participants along the scenic Clinton River Trail to the finish line at Griffin Claw Brewing Company & Clubhouse. Then, runners are encouraged to grab a beer and interact with guide dogs from Rochester Hills-based visually impaired aid organization, Leader Dogs for the Blind. $8+. June 1. Start your Saturday morning with a guided yoga session intended to β€œlift the energy and rejuvenate the mind and body,” according to the event’s website. Father’s Day Beer Cruise

There’s no better way to celebrate the father figure in your life than by boarding the Detroit Princess Riverboat to sample more than 40 seasonal ciders and brews while cruising down the Detroit River. Tapped in the β€˜Ville

The annual Northville Craft Beer Festival invites over 20 local breweries to the event, with more than 60 local, state, and regional varieties of craft beer being offered to festival-goers.
