Cash Only Supper Club β the newest concept from Heirloom Hospitality Group, which owns and operates Townhouse in Detroit and Birmingham as well as ΒιΆΉ·¬ΊΕ Detroitβs 2019 Restaurant of the Year, Prime + Proper β is now open in downtown Detroit. The spot offers fine food and live entertainment in an upscale setting.

The 1,500-square-foot restaurant and entertainment spot is located in the Peter Smith & Sonβs building at 1145 Griswold St. Cash Only Supper Club offers a rotating seven-plus course menu that is $175 per person. Among the items on the opening menu is the second-course Perfect Trio, which is comprised of Lobster Tartelette, Uni Crispy Rice, and A5 Miyazaki Wagyu bites; the third-course tableside Cash Caesar salad; and the fifth-course main attraction options Short Rib on the Bone and Salmon & Sorrel.
The restaurant also has an extensive liquor, wine, and cocktail program. Call Me Cosmo, a drink made with pink peppercorn-infused vodka, pomegranate, and orange cognac, and Flip the Script, which contains barrel-aged reposado tequila, mezcal, and chocolate bitters, are just a couple of the cocktails. Thereβs also the Sheβs With Me, a $100 drink made with Cristal Champagne, gin, Aperol, Averna, and gold.
Cash Only Supper Club hosts live entertainment each evening. Guests can see local and regional singers and musicians; Ben Sharkey and his band headlined opening weekend. Diners are asked to refrain from using their phone β video footage and flash photograph is not allowed during performances β and enjoy the entertainment in the moment.
The space features mostly two-top and four-top tables, offering just over 50 seats β including six at the bar. According to a press release, itβs accented with sultry lighting, Art Deco- and Hollywood glam-inspired dΓ©cor, and a state-of-the-art audio system.
A βfancy cocktail to black-tieβ dress code will be enforced at Cash Only Supper Club, and suit jackets are required for gentlemen. The restaurant is now open from 5 p.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday. Reservations are required and can be made via Prime + Properβs Resy page.
