The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy, which is responsible for the establishment, improvement, and operations of the Detroit RIverWalk and its green spaces, held this year’s Shimmer on the River event on June 10, 2024, at Robert C. Valade Park to help raise money for the 501(c)(3) organization’s mission. The event kicked off with a VIP Reception followed by a family-friendly beach party that featured food trucks, live music, a boardwalk full of summer activities. and much more.
