The Grosse Pointe Historical Society hosted Le Nom du Lac — its summer fundraiser that supports the organization and celebrates the 1679 christening of Lake Saint Clair — on Aug. 12 at The Grosse Pointe Academy. Guests enjoyed Michigan-themed gourmet food, period music and entertainment, and historic automobile displays.
