On Oct. 11, Detroit Garment Group held its annual one-day conference, FashionSpeak at the One Woodward building in Detroit. Attendees enjoyed continental breakfast and lunch, fashion-focused workshops, and more. Panel speakers and special guests included costume designer, Phoenix Mellow, Chair of the Fashion Accessories Design Department at College of Creative Studies, Aki Choklat, and principal designer at Detroit Vs. Everybody, Tommey Walker Jr.
