The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum in Milwaukee unveiled a collection of limited-edition, officially licensed bobbleheads in celebration of the 125th anniversary of Michigan State Basketball. Detroit Funk and Soul Artist Amp Fiddler Dies at 65

Detroit funk and soul singer, songwriter, and keyboardist, Joseph β€œAmp” Fiddler, reportedly died on Dec. 17, 2023, at the age of 65 following an extensive battle with cancer. Fiddler was born on May 17, 1958, and had a 40-year career in music, working alongside big names in the business, performing with Parliament-Funkadelic, and mentoring Detroit producer J. Dilla.

GΓΌnther β€œGuy” Stern, Ph.D., holocaust survivor, war hero, and former provost at Wayne State University died on Dec. 7, 2023. He was 101. Stern joined the staff at Wayne State University as provost and vice president for academic affairs on Sept. 12, 1978. A year later, he founded the university’s Academy of Scholars, and 12 years later he became a professor in the Department of Romance and Germanic Languages and Literature. He retired in 2003.
