Need to de-stress? It’s time to move and get fit in downtown Detroit. , a fitness drink brand, collaborated with actor and director to bring Propel Your City Project coming this August and September, 2023Μύ.

This fitness initiative is designed to bring fitness events to local cities across America. This year, they are coming to Detroit and three other cities: Atlanta, Houston, and Los Angeles, in an effort to support β€œorganizations and their founders who are already addressing barriers to wellness in their communities,” according to their press release.

These free classes are designed to help you get out there and make a move in downtown Detroit. Here are three of the events that are sponsoring local organizations.Μύ

Yin Nights Sunset Yoga Μύ

There is nothing better than yoga and sunsets. Enjoy relaxation and tranquility in Detroit at The Trap Studio, a local yoga and massage studio. These free classes offer peaceful music and yoga poses to work the tissues, stretch your body, and relax the body and mind. These classes are offered Wednesdays from now until Sept. 13. Throwdown by Propel

Yoga not your thing? That’s okay with Throwdown by Propel. Box your way through stress and condition your body! This exclusive and free class offers an introduction to boxing while using β€œauthentic boxing techniques and a killer conditioning and core workout.” This workout is held at TRVFIT Detroit, a training and workout faculty in downtown Detroit. This class is offered every Tuesday and Saturday from now until Sept. 16. Go get your gloves and let out the inner Creed, just like Michael B. Jordan. No cost. Aug. 12-Sept. 16. ;

Propel Sponsored Two-Mile Tuesday + Trap Yoga

Run your heart out at this Propel running event. Two Mile Tuesday alongside Trap Yoga is creating a free running event for those who want to run and not walk. This two-mile run gives you the chance to catch some speed. Afterwards wind down with a Yoga or Strength session to round out your workout. This event will be held on Tuesday August 15 and 22.
